TOMATO SOUP

     In this cool winter everyone likes to drink hot hot soup so I am going to tell you how to make a tasty and healthy soup. I am sure all your family members enjoy it.

      
              Ingredients (serves 4)

       ¼ kg tomato (whole)
       1 big onion (whole)
       1 big carrot (grated)
       1 medium size potato (whole)
       1 small beatroot (grated)
       ½ inch ginger (chopped)
       4 garlic cloves
       1 bay leaf (optional)
       4 cloves
       1 small piece cinnamon (dalchini) 
         salt for taste
       10 peppers
         pinch of black salt
       1 tbsp sugar (as per taste)
         red chilly powder (as per taste)
       ¼ cup milk (as required)
         1 tea spoon ghee                          
      2 tsp corn flour (or Maida)




  In a pressure pan(cooker) take two cups of water, all the vegetables, bay leaf, cloves, pepper, garlic , ginger and cook on low temperature for 10 min . (To make them soft) let it cool .Remove onion , tomato , potato and keep them aside, now stain the remaining into a bowl and keep the stock for further use.

  Now grind tomato , onion, potato into a fine paste and stain it into the stock bowl . Now heat the pan with a tsp of ghee. Fry the corn flour till it changes into light golden colour . Now pour the stock into the pan slowly stirring with the spoon .(Be careful the corn flour forms into lumps).

 Now add black salt, sugar, salt, red chilly powder, as per your taste .(I prefer very little milk) Now that stock must be thin than at the time we take it. Accordingly add water and boil it at high flame till a foam forms over it .Now check the taste once again. Your soup is ready. Serve it after staining it once again.

If you like, serve it with a tsp of cream on it along with bread crumbs.

       Tips:

        (-If you like you can add ¼ tsp soya sauce and 1 tbsp tomato sauce.

         -If you want bread crumbs, you can keep the bread slice in the oven for a min. and use it.)
