To me these are the easiest and tastiest of all type of laddus . in various places people use different styles . But I feel these as the best one.
Ingredients:
1 cup Sooji Rava
1-2 cup fresh greated coconut
1 cup sugar
¼ cup ghee (or oil )
½ ltr whole cream milk
Kaju, Badam (optional )
Procedure :
-boil the milk on a low flame till it becomes little bit
Thick. Stir occationally. Keep it aside
-take a big bowl or vessel with sugar.
-keep thick pan on the flame with a tbsp of ghee.fry
the rava till it changes into light brown colour .pour it on the sugar
-Again take 1 tbsp of ghee in the pan and fry the
Grated coconut till light brown colour. Pour this into
the sugar bowl.
-take 1 tbsp ghee in the pan to fry the kaju. Pour it along with the ghee into the bowl.
-add grated almond. Now mix all the ingredients well.
-Add the thick milk little by little that is sufficient to make laddus. Even if the kowa remains keep it aside .if the kowa is not sufficient you can add hot milk.
-Now make laddus.
-We have to consume them within 1 month.
Tips:
-Use small crystal sugar as much as possible.
-You can fry rava and grated coconut in oven mixing them with ghee separately.
- you can add more coconut as per your taste.
-you can change the sugar quantity as per your taste.
-if the sugar crystals are big in size keep the mixture on the flame for a while before adding milk for 5 min.
