Millet Laddu


we all know how good Millet or ragulu are that to with jaggery combination  which is rich in iron. So we can say a healthy food for all ages. It is more preferable sweet for increasing blood count. If jaggery is not available substitute with sugar.

Ingredients:
 ragulu     1 cup
 jagerry    1 cup (powder)
 sesame seeds  1/4 cup
 ghee         1/4 cup

Procedure:

-fry ragulu without ghee on low flame till they become crispy/fragrance comes.
-fry sesame seeds also.
-make jagerry powder.
-grind raggulu and sesame seeds into coarse powder.
-take all the powders in a big bowl and mix them thoroughly.
-now add little by little hot ghee to the mixture to make laddu.
-when the powder is able to make laddu stop adding ghee.
-now make laddus and store in the air tight container.
-you can store them for 1 month.

Tips:
-ragulu or ragula rawa can be used
-in the absence of jaggery powder use sugar powder
-grind the ragulu when they are warm to make the powder easily
-the laddu becomes dry and loose later so add enough ghee to mix.
