Chapathi

One of the famous India food item is Chapathi. Tasty and energetic food. You can eat chapathi with any curry, dal (or) pickle but spicy spicy kurma combination is quite different. You can taste it even with jam (or) sauce also.

Ingredients:
          - 1 cup wheat flour
          - 1 cup Maida
          - 1 tbsp sujji rawa
          - Salt
          - Oil

Procedure:
- In a plate take 3 flours, pinch of salt, 1 tbsp oil & mix thoroughly.
- Slowly add water and mix the dough.
- It must be tight enough to make balls.
- Keep it aside for at least 1 hr.
- Afterwards knead the dough as much as you can to get soft & tasty chapattis.
- Now make them into balls (approximately lemon size).
- Now roll them with rolling pin by spreading them with wheat flour in round shape.
- Now spread 2-3 drops of oil on it & fold it into semicircle. Again spread 2-3 drops oil and again fold it into triangular shape.
- Now roll it again without loosing the triangular shape.
- Heat the pan & keep the chapathi on it.
- After turning it both sides spread little oil on it & fry it till brown colour.
While frying press the chapathi lightly with the frying spoon to make the chapathi puffing.
- Chapathi is ready to eat.

Tips:
- When you tear the chapathi piece you have to find layers in it. If they are not there, you have to spread little more oil when folding them.
- If the layers are thick you have to roll them little more.

- If you don’t like to eat Maida avoid it.
